Info pack RSM
Finally got around to browse through the info pack I received from RSM. Besides some goodies and hard copy versions of the RSM brochures, there was a magazine (RSM Outlook), which gave an insight into life during and after a MBA at RSM. The most interesting one however, was a booklet with faces, names, etc from the current EMBA08 class. The group is really international and with no specific focus on a certain business domain.
I was also made painfully aware that I should re-submit my passport size pictures as every male student in the EMBA08 booklet is wearing a suit and tie
Booking early at a nearby hotel for the first week also seems to be a good idea. By now the EMBA09 todo list looks like:
- Re-submit passport size picture (suit and tie)
- Book nearby hotel for the first week
- Get laptop (Apple MBP/IBM Thinkpad T61p)

Hi, congrats for getting admitted to RSM
I am currently in the middle of my application and target for second week of october to get the application out to RSM. I will also apply for the EMBA08 class. Hope to meet you there …
Hi,
Thanks for your note, somebody is actually reading my ramblings
Hope you get admitted, I found the people at admission down to earth, realistic and helpful. Like you probably I have revised my essays a gazillion times. Good luck on your admission and hope to see you in person on Jan. the 12th 2008 in Rotterdam.
Hi,
submitted my online application end of october and mailed in the supplements last week. I received the confirmation today …. I also iterated all essays a million times – happy to have this out now
How was your interview session with the alumni? Do you have any advice/experience you can share with me? Many Thanks and hope to see you in Jan 08.
Hi,
Having the essays and all out of the way means you are almost there
The interview in my case was held in Rotterdam at RSM.
The interview is mainly targeted to get to know you, your ambitions and goals (also after the MBA). Of course you will have to explain (again) why an MBA would help you in achieving your goals and where you find that your skills could benefit.
The setting is relaxed and people are interested in what you have to say. I would advise, to have a good rest, reassure yourself that the MBA is what you need and be the person that you are.
Good Luck
Hi,
thanks
… so finally went through the interview last week friday at RSM
Is the (non-) confirmation coming through email? The campus is really nice and very international, I like it.
